Speedloader for Grand Power K22 magazines

Hi

Does such a device exist? I have a McFadden Lightnin' Grip Loader for my 15/22 but they don't appear to make an adapter for the K22 magazines.

Speedloader for Grand Power K22 magazines - solution

Postby Michael Norris » Tue Mar 21, 2017 1:33 pm

Hi

As a follow up to my question about speed loaders for K22 magazines, I bought the following from riflemags.co.uk

Maglula .22UpLULA .22LR double stack magazine loader

It cost £34.99.

This is a generic speed loader that has a 'finger' that depresses the magazine follower and you insert a round over the finger into the magazine. They claim a load rate of about one round per second. With my first attempt, I could get a round loaded every three seconds but had no problem putting 18 rounds into one of the high capacity magazines.

Interesting! Do you think its worth the money? I do find the mags a pain to load. Cheers

Paul

It is definitely quicker than just using my hands. However, I have only used my K22 on a couple of occasions and it could be that a more seasoned shooter may not have the problem that I do.

Many thanks Mike,
I may just take the plunge as recently I seem to be suffering from a touch of arthritis in both of my
hands it may just make life a bit easier and less painful. Cheers Paul

Just got one and they work OK not needed for the standard mags but work great with the high capacity ones
