Club Insurance

Where? Well that mythical pub that's just near the range where we we can discuss anything you want to say that doesn't fit any listed category. It probably soon will though...

Club Insurance

Some of you may be aware of questions raised earlier this year regarding Personal Accident cover under the NRA affiliate club insurance scheme. This was brought into focus resulting from an accident at Bisley involving an NTSA member and the resulting claim for injury. Four4islands were not involved but the NRA contacted all clubs to seek clarification of cover in such cases.

We had been aware for some time that the NRA scheme only provided Personal Accident cover for full NRA members and not affiliate clubs, the latter being covered for Public Liability claims only (£10 million). As a result, we had provided cover through a third party arrangement and continue to do so.

In addition to the NRA scheme, we also provide cover under the Bluefin Shotsure policy underwritten by Covea Insurance. This includes £30,000 personal accident cover in addition to £5 million Public Liability cover.

So for existing F4i club members you can rest assured that you currently have double cover including Personal Accident. Non-members are advised to check their insurance arrangements and consider that at £20 per year, we still offer the best shooting insurance value around.

There is a copy of the Bluefin schedule in the Club Members' section of the forum available for download.
